Worship

Our Lord Jesus promised, “For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." (Matthew 18:20) For God’s people, worship has most always meant gathering together as a group in God’s name. We celebrate God’s presence among us by reading and preaching on God’s word, the singing of Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, and praying to God. We worship using liturgies on Sunday mornings. We do not use a liturgy for the 9AM Contemporary worship service. On the first and third Sunday of the month, special music is provided by a traditional choir. On the second and fourth Sunday, special music is provided by a contemporary choir.  Special music is also often provided by individuals from our congregation.  The following opportunities for Worship are currently available at Grace:

Services of Healing:

When: Usually scheduled for a Sunday evening at 7PM. Call the church office for updates.

This gentle, soothing Communion service lives up to its name – the liturgy helps you to deeply reconnect with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in a personal and private way. Open to anyone who wants to come, this inspiring and uplifting liturgy is ideal for all who suffer, be it personal loss, physical illness, or simply through trying to cope with daily strife.

During our healing services, those who are experiencing physical, emotional and spiritual suffering receive prayer, comfort, consolation, an anointing with oil and laying on of hands by elders. This all occurs within the service of worship, which includes preaching and Holy Communion.

May the love of Jesus bring you peace.
