Church related Links Grace Lutheran Congregation is a member congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) and the British Columbia Synod of the ELCIC. For information on the ELCIC (http://www.elcic.ca/) and the BC Synod (http://www.bcsynod.org/) Our Pastor Ed Skutshek is the president of Solid Ground Ministry/Canada, a non-profit corporation organized under the laws of the province of Ontario. Solid Ground Ministry/Canada is an organization that seeks to unite clergy and lay members of the ELCIC who are concerned with the ELCIC’s drift away from its traditional and historical witness to the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions for study, discussion, worship, affirmation, service and action. A group of lay members of the ELCIC have recently formed a group called “Here We Stand” whose aim is to unite the laity of the ELCIC for the purpose of calling our church back to its traditional and historical witness to the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions.
